Color Correction and Removal![]() I am sure you have seen permanent makeup go wrong? Much of what we call “botched” work comes from inexperienced artists that are not educated in color theory and how to correctly micro-pigment color into the brows, eyes, lips and scalp. Thankfully there are now a few options to fix or remove bad or unwanted pigment and design. There are three ways to fix or remove color: One is color removal using a solution that you implant by using a tattoo machine into the skin. Most of the solutions are made up with a salt/saline or a glycolic with a magnesium and calcium oxide called Eliminink. Second, we can color correct the grey/purple/blue colors. The last option is laser. Laser can work well, but it is expensive and painful. With the other options we are able to use a topical lidocane. It is important to note that any removal method: it is a process and at times can cost more than the original procedure.
